But that vision had dimmed over the years, until all that was left was a shadow.

In that moment, alone with the weight of years I felt I’d wasted, I was struck by a simple, painful truth: I couldn’t keep living like this. Something in me knew I still had a chance to find the person I was meant to be, but it was now or never. So on October 22, 2015, I made a choice. I put my feet on the path to change, determined to transform, but I had no idea how far or how long that path would go.

I stumbled, failed, and learned to filter through the noise. Slowly, painfully, I built a new version of myself. It took years to separate what was useful from the rest, but with every step, I found a little more strength, a little more clarity. I was on a journey I would never turn back from.
